Green PKiN for L’Oréal

October 2009 · Warsaw · Client: NewLook

For 23 days, the Palace of Culture and Science was illuminated in green for L’Oréal, in an architectural lighting project delivered by our team. It was a distinctive project showing how light could change the atmosphere of one of Warsaw’s most recognisable landmarks.

The project was commissioned by NewLook. At the time, the Palace hosted an impressive collection of architectural lighting equipment—an exceptional setup by Polish standards: 72 Colorada fixtures, 8 Colorstream units, 2 Space Cannons and 3 Barco projectors rated at 20,000 ANSI lumens.

The project became an important moment for architectural lighting in Warsaw. Following the installation, the city decided to purchase lighting equipment for the Palace of Culture and Science, allowing the building to continue being illuminated in the years that followed.
